EPA and Syracuse Area Officials Make Green Infrastructure Announcement

(New York, N.Y. – Apr. 19, 2011) U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Deputy Administrator Bob Perciasepe and Regional Administrator Judith Enck will be joined by the Mayor of Syracuse, the Onondaga County Executive and other top officials to make an important announcement tomorrow about green infrastructure in Syracuse, New York. Green infrastructure projects capture stormwater and put it productive use, lessening the burden on municipal sewer systems and local ecosystems.
