Green Infrastructure Monitoring and Research Challenge – Solicitation of Interest

Save the Rain is soliciting interest in green infrastructure monitoring and research projects for our green projects in the City of Syracuse. Private and public institutions of higher education located in Central New York are eligible to apply.
Onondaga County has contracted with Environmental Finance Center (EFC) to facilitate a process with the academic community, the County, and private sector partners that will deliver a robust set of unique data. This information will be able to demonstrate for communities across the nation that green infrastructure can be used in Combined Sewer Overflow mitigation.
AWARD INFORMATION
Proposals must show a one to one match to requested funds. The amount of the award will be commensurate with the quality of proposals received and anticipated results and impact to Onondaga County. Projects must be completed by March 31, 2014. Extensions will not be allowed.
