Project Description:
This project served to demonstrate the application of porous concrete to a city sidewalk, located on Grand Avenue. The 560 square feet of porous concrete captures stormwater runoff from the sidewalk and adjacent pavement areas. The runoff then infiltrates to a stone reservoir and eventually the soil below. This sidewalk captures 10,000 gallons of stormwater annually.
