Project Description:

The West Fayette Street Sewer Separation project between Onondaga Creek and South Salina Street included the installation of a new 24” separate storm sewer in Fayette Street that captures the runoff from the street via existing and new street catch basins. The project also included the connection to existing storm sewers on South Clinton and South Franklin Streets that capture additional stormwater from those streets.

This project was completed in conjunction with the upcoming Phase 2 and 3 Connective Corridor streetscape improvements by Syracuse University and the City of Syracuse. This project was completed in advance of the start of construction of the next phases of the Connective Corridor project.
